The warranty covers breakdowns due to manufacturing or design faults. It does not cover damage, however caused, wear & tear, neglect, incorrect adjustment or repair by persons other than Panasonic, modifications unauthorised by Panasonic or any items of a limited natural life

GUARANTEE EXCLUSIONS
Panasonic shall not be liable for any removal or re-installation of either the faulty or loan projector.
The warranty does not cover:-
  • Consumables such as lamps, fans, panels, filters or batteries.
  • Failure due to the lack of maintenance outlined in the Operating Instructions supplied with the unit or the incorrect re-fitting of lamps, filters or batteries.
  • Units not originally supplied by Panasonic through an approved reseller.
  • Any damage that has resulted from mishandling, misapplication, alteration, modification, faulty installation or set-up adjustments.
  • Units with a considerable degree of smoke contamination. These will be replaced with units in a similar condition.
  • Any product, of which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
  • Any product if the defects or failures result from any cause other than fair wear and tear or Panasonic’s neglect or fault, including without limitation:
  • Accident, shipping, neglect, misuse, abuse or other default of or by the customer, its employees or agents or any third party.
  • Failure or fluctuation of electrical power, electrical circuitry, air conditioning, humidity control or other environmental conditions.
  • Abnormal operating conditions including smoke (e.g.: cigarette smoke) and dust or any other failure to comply with the detailed instructions within the user manual.
  • Fire, flood, war, act of violence or any similar occurrence.
  • Any fault in the attachment of associated products or components which do not form part of the product covered in this guarantee.
  • Failure due to use of unauthorised or unsuitable software.
  • Failure due to connection to incompatible equipment.
  • Failure due to Ingress of moisture, fluid or foreign bodies.

    Consumables such as lamps have a limited life. The lifetime is affected by certain environmental conditions such as temperature, switching the projector on and off, lamps usage hours and changing power modes (where applicable), therefore the guarantee period is limited to six (6) months or 500 hours of use (whichever comes first from the date of purchase).
